Encore raté pour un HD26, ce sera ici une nouvelle déclinaison colorée du HD25, avec le modèle Amperior. Si la marque n’admet aucun changement sonore, elle annonce tout de même une finition aluminium, en bleu ou en argent pour la couleur, ainsi qu’une télécommande pour smartphone (avant tout Apple) sur un des câbles (probablement deux câbles donc).

Quand est-il de cette “finition aluminium” ? Les cups sont-ils vraiment en aluminium ou c’est juste un coup de peinture ?Â
La traduction voudrait que ce soit vraiment de l’aluminium, mais tout comme en Français, cela risque d’être un abus de langage, du genre “brillant façon alu” mais toujours plastique. Une vraie utilisation alu risquerait en plus d’influer sur le son. Après on ne sait jamais.
Apparemment c’est 349 dollars US et la coque extérieure est en aluminium.

“Sennheiser has two new models of headphones here at CES 2012: the HD 25 Amperior and the HD 700, both of which are very expensive but sound quite good. The $349 Amperior has an aluminum outer shell in either silver or blue, microfiber ear pads, and a fully adjustable head band for maximal comfort. It has a standard 3.5-mm headphone jack and detachable adapter with a microphone and inline controls. In my testing, music was punchy and loud; you could really hear every sound and I found their audio quality to be pretty impressive.”
